The BESEN BN21 is a practical mobile charger for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. It operates with a voltage of 100–250 V AC and allows the charging current to be adjusted to the capabilities of the electrical installation within a range of 6 to 16 A. For safety reasons, the default charging current is set to 6 A.
The integrated 2.6-inch color LCD display shows important information in real time, including current, voltage, charging time, energy consumption, and operating status. The delayed start function and charging duration settings make it easier to take advantage of more favorable tariffs and plan when the vehicle will be ready for a journey.
The durable design with an IP66 protection rating protects the charger from dust and water jets. Safe operation is ensured by an integrated Type A RCD with 6 mA DC detection, along with protection against undervoltage, overload, short circuit, overheating, ground faults, and the effects of lightning strikes.
