The FOSSIBOT FAC580 is a powerful DC-DC charger designed to charge compatible portable power stations while driving. Compared with a standard 96 W cigarette lighter socket, it offers charging speeds up to six times faster. It is compatible with all FOSSIBOT portable power stations and 99% of models from other brands, making it suitable for passenger cars, SUVs, pick-up trucks, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, trucks, and yachts.
The charger automatically adjusts its output according to the input voltage and offers two practical modes. Mode 1 is designed for charging while driving: at 13.2–14 V, it provides up to 300 W, and above 14 V, up to 580 W. Mode 2 is intended for emergency use when the engine is switched off; when the voltage drops below 12 V, the power supply is automatically interrupted to prevent excessive discharge of the vehicle battery.
Stable and safe operation is ensured by an active cooling system with a fan and ventilation opening, together with multi-level protection.
