The SONOFF iPlug Outdoor is a smart outdoor plug with a European Type F (Schuko) socket that expands automation options in the garden, on the terrace or balcony. It connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, while the Matter standard enables integration into compatible smart homes. The plug can be controlled via the eWeLink app and through Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant and SmartThings. A compatible hub is required to use Matter.
Create schedules and automatic scenes, and control connected devices by voice. The plug is suitable, for example, for garden lights, irrigation systems, pumps or seasonal decorations. Energy consumption measurement and cost tracking are available in the eWeLink app. In Home Assistant and SmartThings, a firmware update to version V1.0.6 or later via the eWeLink app is required. Energy consumption measurement is not available in Apple Home, Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
The durable UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing and IP44 rating help protect the plug against splashing water and normal outdoor conditions. Built-in overload protection and protected conductive parts support safe operation. The device operates at temperatures from -20 to 50 °C and can handle a connected load of up to 16 A / 3,840 W.
