xTool mBot2 v1.0 is a school and home STEM kit designed for step-by-step learning – from first algorithms in a block environment to more advanced projects in Python. The heart of the robot is CyberPi with an ESP32 microprocessor, which ensures program execution and communication. With connections via Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and USB, you can use the robot with various devices and easily integrate it into teaching and project work.
The robot perceives its surroundings using a combination of sensors: the external Ultrasonic Sensor 2 for distance measurement, a quad RGB sensor for recognizing lines and colors, as well as a light sensor and microphone integrated directly in CyberPi. This enables creating scenarios where the robot’s behavior dynamically changes depending on light, sound, or obstacles in its path.
Precise movement is handled by motors with encoders (rotation measurement with 1° accuracy), which make it easier to control direction, distance, and maneuvers. The platform is also ready to grow – with the mBot2 Shield, you can connect external components compatible with the Makeblock ecosystem and expand projects as needed.
