The Moes HP02 presence sensor takes home automation to the next level – unlike common PIR sensors, thanks to 24GHz mmWave it can detect even a person who is almost not moving (for example when sitting or sleeping). The sensor evaluates subtle signals such as breathing, heart rate and micro-movements, helping to minimize “blind spots” in smart scenes.
Operation is not dependent on surrounding conditions – the sensor is not affected by temperature, light, or airflow. In addition, radar waves can penetrate materials such as textiles, glass, plastic, or insulation, so it can also be installed discreetly. Wide detection angles and range allow adaptation to a specific room (up to 180° at 3 m, 140° at 5 m and 60° at 6 m).
Installation is simplified by a magnetic base with the option of tilt up to 45° and 360° rotation. Wired power ensures stable, continuous operation without battery replacement. For operation and integration into a smart home, a compatible ZigBee gateway is required, which is not included in the package.
