The Helle Nord outdoor knife was developed for the demanding conditions of the Scandinavian wilderness. Thanks to its full tang construction, in which the steel runs through the entire length of the handle, it is also suitable for heavier work in the field, such as processing and chopping wood. The satin-matte blade finish reduces reflections and better conceals minor scratches caused by use.
The blade with a plain edge and Scandinavian grind is made of 14C28N stainless steel. This material is valued for its ability to achieve a high level of sharpness, good edge stability, and resistance to corrosion. The knife is a practical choice for bushcraft, camping, and other outdoor activities.
The oiled curly birch wood handle stands out with its natural grain, making each piece unique. An integrated finger notch serves as a safety guard against the hand slipping onto the blade. At the end of the handle is a hollow brass hole for threading a safety lanyard or paracord. A brown leather sheath is included.
